Samuel H. Bell

Age 71, of Lower Burrell, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021. Loving husband for 26 years of the late Deborah (Grego) Bell; cherished son of the late Samuel and Martha Bell; dear brother of John (Janice) Bell of Fox Chapel, and Thomas (Susan Krysiewicz) Bell of New York, NY; fondly remembered uncle ofAndrew (Heather) Bell, Adam  (Jenna) Bell, Sarah Bell, Ian Bell and Aubrienne Krysiewicz-Bell; great uncle of Jason, Tyler, Lily and Harlow Bell.

Sam grew up in Pittsburgh, and graduated from the University of Michigan in 1971.  Sam was a long standing and dedicated member of the seniormanagement team of S.H. Bell Company, a family company headquartered in Pittsburgh. In addition to being a significant shareholder and board member of the company, Sam was anofficer of the company, and contributed enormously to the company’s operations and success. He was beloved and esteemed by his fellow employees.

Besides work, and pleasure in his family, Sam was also an avid gardener, and enjoyed spending his free time working in his yard and planting in his garden.

Sam will be dearly remembered by many for his kind, thoughtful, generous, and gentle spirit, plus his strong sense of integrity and morals, and his independence of judgment.

No Visitation. A memorial service will be held at noon, on Wednesday, July 21st, in the cemetery Chapel at St. Mary Cemetery, located at 3330 Leechburg Road in Lower Burrell, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Burrellton Garden Club, 520 Braeview St., Lower Burrell, PA, 15068 or St. Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Rd., New Kensington, PA, 15058.
