Rosina I. (Turano) Cozza

Age 84, formerly of Sharpsburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024. She was born on February 8, 1940 in Cosenza, Italy to Pietro and Beatrice (Gallo) Turano. She was the beloved wife of the late Luigi Cozza; loving mother of Carla B. Runco and Sandra Reinsfelder (Neil); cherished nonna of Natalie Runco, Julia Runco, Garrett Reinsfelder, Emily Reinsfelder and Luke Reinsfelder; sister of the late Giuseppe Turano; also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rosina was a loving wife, mother and nonna who devoted her life to her family, friends and her faith. She enjoyed cooking, baking homemade bread and knitting afghans for family, friends and neighbors. She will be sorely missed.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall, where a parting prayer will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, Madonna of Jerusalem Church, 220 Ninth Street, Sharpsburg. Entombment will follow at Mount Royal Cemetery, Shaler Twp.
