Robert Brian Letters
Age 70, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Beloved son of the late Harry and Theresa Letters; husband to Patty, father to Amber (AJ), Brian, and Nicholas (Erica), grandfather to Jett, Rory, Nicholas, and Laken, brother to Janet, Joyce, Joan, Harry, Patty, Jeff, Russell, Nancy, and the late William, favorite uncle, great friend, and inspiration to many in the ALS community. Robert, better known as "Bob", was a lover of music and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed being around family and friends, sitting by a good bon-fire, taking trips to the lake, and being in the stands/audience watching his children, who made him so proud. Bob served in the United States Coast Guard, later continuing the legacy of Letters Roofing and Home Improvements. After being diagnosed with ALS in 2018, Bob became a hero to many through his strength and never-ending fighting spirit. In all stages of life, he could make people laugh.
