Philip J. Davidson, III passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. He was 83. Phil, fondly known by friends as “Too Tall” or “Uncle Phil”, was born in Pittsburgh on March 12, 1943, to Lora (Peggy) Weidner and Philip J. Davidson. He graduated from Tulane University. He was a member of Fox Chapel Golf Club for over 65 years and Rolling Rock Club, where he was an avid golfer and a great shot.
Beloved husband of Laurie (Kyle) Davidson for 60 years. Loving father of Diane Kyle Davidson Copas and Laurie Weidner Davidson; cherished grandfather of Taylor, Cameron, Tristan, and Estella; brother of William Jeffrey (Helen) Davidson; also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18th, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall.
