Paulette M. Harbetz
Age 79 of Shaler Twp., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at UPMC Passavant, McCandless Twp.. Paulette was born in Augusta, GA on September 12, 1945 and was a daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Sabatiello) Harbetz.
Paulette graduated from Louise Suydam McClintic School of Nursing then spent 40 yrs as a registered nurse working in post-partum and the NICU. A very artistic and creative person her talent showed in her many ceramics, drawings, and sewing always preferring to make gifts from the heart for friends and family. Paulette enjoyed traveling and also happy spending quiet time at home with her beloved kitties and grandkitties.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Paul Ruffner. She is survived by her daughter, Amie L. Petroski (Brian) of West Deer Twp.; her sisters, Suzanne Goob (late William) and Mary Ann Riddle (Walter “Skip”); also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 18th from 6 p.m. until the 8 p.m. funeral service at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, O’Hara Twp. will be private.
