Mary Ann (Galda) Solesha

Age 77, of the The Villages, Florida, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025. Born December 13, 1947, to Chester and Caroline Galda in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Beloved wife of Daniel; mother of Michael (Rebecca) Solesha; sister of Thomas (late Marcy) Galda, Jane (Alan) Darling, and the late Frances (late Victor) Heep; also survived by two grandchildren, Evan Solesha and Chloe Solesha; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Mary Ann graduated from Sharpsburg High School in 1965, finishing second in her class. Her Catholic upbringing and tenacity brought her success in her career in roles such as Vice President of DMA Consulting and Superintendent Administrative Assistant in the Fox Chapel School District. Mary Ann loved spending time with family and friends. She also loved playing golf, with many friends throughout the years at Connoquenessing Country Club in Ellwood City, PA and recently with the OHPA group in The Villages, FL. She was very proud of her four career holes-in-one.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 starting at 1 p.m. at South Park-Sunny Slope & Sunny Wood Pavilions, located at Sunny Slope Road. South Park, PA 15129.
