Mary Ann Johns

Age 84 a longtime resident of Blawnox, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late Leo A. and Alice (Lynch) Johns; dear sister of Leo F. Johns and the late Eileen Johns Fogarty, Brother Robert J. Johns, S.M., William J. Johns and Raymond P. Johns; also by 12 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

Mary was a 1957 graduate of Ursuline Academy and a 1963 graduate of the Pittsburgh Business School. She worked many years as a keypunch operator. In 1988 Mary attended LPN training and nurses aide training from 1983-1987. She was the Republican Chairman in Blawnox  from 1992-2007 as well as the Republican Inspector. Mary was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Edward Church, Blawnox.

Visitation at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave. Aspinwall on Friday, August 13th from 9:00 a.m. until 10 a.m.  followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, St. Edward Church, 450 Walnut St.  Blawnox. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Penn Hills.
