Margaret "Peg" DiPasquale
Age 72, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2020. Beloved wife of 50 years to Anthony DiPasquale. Loving mother to Tony (Beth), Mike (Dawn), Jim (Michelle) and Steve (Dara). Devoted grandmother to Eliza, Ruby, John, Maya and Laney. Sister of Jack (Debbi) Gannon, Jean (John) Ward, James (Maryann) Gannon, Thomas Gannon, Richard (Denise) Gannon and the late Kathleen Gannon. Peg is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She fully embraced her role as wife, mother, and grandmother, but many also called her a friend and if lucky enough, one had the pleasure to call her their teacher. Peg loved her vacations to Hilton Head each summer with all of her boys; she looked forward to making Christmas cookies with her grandchildren and putting tinsel on the tree. She would remind you that it was her "birthday week" each year and you could be certain Tony, the man who loved her endlessly, would make the whole week special for her. Peg will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Friends will be received Wednesday, September 23rd from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave., Aspinwall, where a parting prayer will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Scholastica Church, 309 Brilliant Ave., Aspinwall. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. Visitation will be limited to 25 persons at a time.
