Sunday, December 20, 2020 was the day that the Lord chose to call LeRoy Sabina home. After 50 years of marriage, he is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Linda Sabina (Scarnati), and his beloved son, Lou L. Sabina and his wife of nearly 9 years, Kiara L. Sabina. LeRoy was the son of the late Louis and Maria (Reh) Sabina; dear brother of Jean Sabina O'Donnell (William), and the late Louis Sabina (Audrey), Leonard Sabina (Lois), Lillian Sabina Hajduk (Harry); also survived by brothers and sisters in laws, and many nieces and nephews. No Visitation, a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
God looked around his garden and found an empty place
He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest
God’s garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb
So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, “Peace be thine”
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
Please think of this as a wondrous adventure that will last through all eternity. Please don’t be sad because we will never be apart. For every time you think of me, I’m right here in your heart.
LeRoy’s spirit will live on in the hearts of many, while he watches over us from the Heaven’s above. The family asks that we all spend time reflecting on the memories that we have had with LeRoy throughout life and sharing them with those we love this holiday to celebrate his life. He accomplished many things, from his younger years when he spent many a summer taking his nieces and nephews to Kennywood and Cedar Point, to his days of owning Sabina’s News, and then retiring, only to succumb to every demand of his beloved and beautiful cat, Tabitha, or better known as Pretty Girl. LeRoy enjoyed many things, and spent his days of retirement making sure that he lived life to the fullest, even traveling to Florida and visiting Disney with his wife, Linda, son, Lou and his wife, Kiara.
