Katelyn M. Sutcliffe
Age 44 of Indianola, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026. Beloved wife of James P. Kuzemka; loving daughter of The Rev. Paul A. Sutcliffe, Jr. (Kathy) and the late Susan (Danforth) Sutcliffe; dear sister of Kristen Sutcliffe, Kelsey Casey, Robert Wholey, IV (Rosalind), Leonard Wholey (Maria) and Luke Wholey (Emily Adair); also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Katelyn was a kind, caring, and truly generous person. She could never stand to see someone go without. She would do anything for family, friend, or stranger in need. Those who knew her best also knew how funny she was. There was rarely a time among friends and family that didn’t include gratuitous laughter because of her infectious sense of humor. As much as she loved the people in her life, she may have loved animals even more. She leaves behind two dogs and two cats, and was always looking for another to take in and love. She was a truly beautiful person, and the world will not be as nice a place without her. She will be intensely loved and missed forever.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Weddell-Ajak Funeral Home, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall. Service and interment private.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to the Bluegrass Relief Fund https://www.bluegrassrelieffund.org/
