Age 94, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lorraine, whom he was married to for 66 years. His infant son, Kenneth, his parents, Anthony and Mary (Carricato) Pistoria, his sisters, Rosemarie Secola and Teresa Persichetti. He is survived by his children, Anthony Pistoria, Lorraine Zwergel, Patricia Stover (Lee), Joyce Arnold (Randy), Janice Farine (Alan), Leonard Pistoria (Darren); also 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
 

Julius grew up in Sharpsburg and served in the Korean War with the Army. Later he opened his own hair dressing salon, Julius Hair Fashions, where he worked for more than 40 years. Julius loved and was proud of his family.

The family will receive friends Sunday March 20th from 2 p.m. -  6 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave. Aspinwall, where a parting prayer will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, St. Scholastica Church, Aspinwall. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
