John Bertin Natali "JB", died peacefully on January 25, 2021 at Forbes Hospital due to complications from Covid and Diabetes. He was born January 11, 1964 in Point Breeze, the son of Dr. Daniel Natali and Josephine (Hurrell) Natali. He was the youngest of 6 children.
John went to St. Scholastica for grade school, followed by high school at the Craig House in the Friendship area of Pittsburgh where he was treated with respect and love. After school, he held numerous jobs where he worked as a laborer and driver. He was an active member of AA and NA celebrating his "second birthday" on Feb 14 of 1996. He remained sober for the last 27 years of his life. JB loved wrestling, Chinese food, fishing, venison and Facebook.
John was a unique person, blessed with a big personality and you always knew when he was in the room. He loved his friends and his family, particularly his nieces and nephews. He loved to tell stories and kept everyone entertained. Some of the stories ended up being true, which made them all the more amazing. He was a great tennis player in his youth and loved watching all sports. He was a believer in Bigfoot and knew all the Star Wars movies by heart.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother William. Surviving are his brothers Daniel E. and his wife Debbi in Wisconsin, Eugene and his wife Diane, David, Mary Jo and her husband Tim in Virginia.
A viewing will be held privately for family only. All are welcomed to a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, January 30th at 10 a.m. at St. Scholastica Church, 309 Brilliant Ave., Aspinwall. Burial will follow in Homewood Cemetery, Point Breeze.
