Joan (Weeks) Kapp

Age 95, of Fox Chapel, died peacefully in the presence of her family on Monday February 17, 2025. Born on February 26, 1929 in Bellevue, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Weeks.

Joan was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dennis and beautiful daughter, Rosemary. Devoted mother of Clare (Larry), John (Nina), Jeffrey (Janet), Robert, David, and Francis. Cherished grandmother of Brooke, Brynna, Dylan, Grace and Luke as well as great grandchildren, Hazel, Olive and Georgia. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 21st from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall, where a parting prayer will be held Saturday, February 22nd at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Christian Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, St. Scholastica Church, Aspinwall.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to Family Hospice or to Animal Friends, Inc.
