Imelda R. (Koch) Hohman "Mel"
Age 94 of Shaler Twp., passed away peacefully at home with family at her side on Thursday, March 7, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Laurence J. Hohman; loving mother of Mark L. Hohman (Cynthia), Christine R. Cutone (Anthony), David J. Hohman (Lisa), Cathy L. Whalen (Kyle), Laurie A. Sallows (Warren), Carolyn A. Lanzendorfer (Thomas) and Amy H. Long (Paul); cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren; dear sister of Donald Koch and sister-in-law of Rosemary Romig. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Gregory Pivirotto, granddaughter, Kirsten Hohman and great grandson, Ellis Esser; her brothers, Kenneth, Raymond, and Myron Koch and a sister Mary Ann Sullivan.
Mel will be remembered most by her beaming smile, razor sharp wit, and lifelong compassion and beauty.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10th from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Weddell-Ajak Funeral Home, 100 Center Ave. Aspinwall, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11th at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, O'Hara Twp.
