Gertrude Elizabeth (Heurich) Panza

Age 95, formerly of Aspinwall, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Saturday, September 26, 2020. Beloved wife of 45 years to the late Louis J. Panza, Sr.; loving mother of Raymond  (Linda), Michael (Deanna) and Louis J. Jr. (Cheryl); also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; sister of the late Henry Heurich Jr., Loretta Meacham, Mary Whitaker and Caroline Connolly.

Gertrude was for many years an active member of her church, including being a member of the Christian Mothers and Resurrection Choir.  She lived her faith and was a blessing to all the lives she touched.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for her infectious smile, laughter and most especially her love of life and compassion.

Family and friends will be received Thursday, October 1st, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave. Aspinwall. Masks and social distancing required, no more than 25 people in the funeral home at a time.  A Christian Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 2nd at 10 a.m. at St. Scholastica Church, 309 Brilliant Ave. Aspinwall. Everyone please meet at church. 

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to Saint Scholastica Parish, Monongahela Valley Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice.
