Esther Diane Morris

Age 68, of Lafayette, IN, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was born on June 29, 1955 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late David and Florence (Doyle) Ferrera. After graduating from high school, Esther attended Beauty School.

On May 23, 1998, she married Gregory Morris in Pittsburgh, PA. Esther retired from Walmart where she had worked as a cashier. She had previously worked for Marsh and Riehle Brothers. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Esther loved to travel and go on cruises. She also enjoyed collecting Barbie dolls.

Surviving are her husband, Greg Morris of Lafayette; her children, Erik (Nicole Craig) Walters of Pittsburgh, Joshua (Trisha) Walters of Lafayette, Brianna (Jerry Moss) Morris of Lafayette, and Gregory Morris of Lafayette; her sister, Maryanne Wegert of Lafayette; and her 9 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Walters.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 7th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall, where a funeral service will be held on Monday, April 8th at 10:30 a.m., followed by burial at  Mount Carmel Cemetery, Penn Hills.
