Eileen J. Sample

Age 86 of Cranberry Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2026. Eileen was born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 6, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Michael and Gertrude (Simmons) Robinson. She is survived by her beloved children, Sharon Noro (Joe), Kenneth M. Sample (Diane) and David R. Sample (Kim); her cherished grandchildren  Ashley Hilbert (Zach), Joseph Noro Jr. (Taylor), Taylor Sample, Stacie Sample, Ethan Sample, Owen Sample and Emily Sample; and her great grandchildren  Grayson Hilbert, Landon Hilbert, Gage Hartman, and Haidyn Sample.

Eileen dedicated over 35 years to the billing and accounting department at Vesuvius Crucible Company. In her retirement, she found great joy in giving back to her community, volunteering for multiple organizations. Her later years were truly rich, filled with the warmth of helping others and the close companionship of her dear friends.

No Visitation. A private family service and entombment will be held at the Temple of Memories at Allegheny Cemetery, Lawrenceville.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to Gleaner’s Food Bank, 2535 Rochester Road; Cranberry Township, PA. 16066. 

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Weddell-Ajak Funeral Home, Aspinwall.
