Dorothy Mary (Kleiderlein) Jacob

Passed away peacefully on Sunday,  June 14, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born on August 15, 1937 and was a daughter of George and Dorothy (Twele) Kleiderlein.  She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Richard P. Jacob, whom she married on August 11, 1962; her children, Richard (Cheryl) Jacob, Paul (Carol) Jacob, Maureen (Bill) Matesich and the late Mary Kathleen Karrenbauer; her grandchildren, Richard, Robert, Claire, Thomas, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Jacob, Greg, Bill, Maria and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Emma, Ryan, Ethan, Eliza, Amelia, Violet and Alex; her siblings, Ann Butcher, George Kleiderlein, Isabelle (Bill) Allanach and the late Joseph Kleiderlein, Joan Hartman, Richard Kleiderlein, Mary Agnes Schaub, Bernard Kleiderlein and Jean Ake.  

Dorothy was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Joseph Church, O’Hara Twp. and Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Victor Church, Bairdford. She volunteered as a deliverer for 30 years with Meals on Wheels.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 17th from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall, where a parting prayer will be held Thursday, June 18th at 10 a.m.,  followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Parish, St. Joseph Church, 342 Dorseyville Rd. O’Hara Twp. Interment Private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the American Cancer Society.
