Donna L. Mullins
Of Aspinwall, passed away on July 10, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. She was 82 years old.
Donna will be remembered for her warmth, devotion to her family, and the kindness she extended to friends and neighbors. Her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her, and her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.
She dedicated countless hours as a volunteer at St. Scholastica School, and later as the school secretary, where her warmth and generosity touched the lives of both students and staff. Whether assisting with lunch services, organizing events, or lending a supportive hand to teachers, Donna's presence was a constant source of encouragement and kindness. Her commitment to fostering a nurturing environment helped create lasting memories for many in the community.
Donna was renowned for her many years as a talented cake baker. Her artistry in the kitchen brought joy to countless celebrations, and her reputation extended well beyond her immediate circle. A highlight of her baking career was her memorable appearance on Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, where she shared her passion and skills with a wider audience. Donna’s creativity and dedication to her craft made her cakes a beloved centerpiece at gatherings and a testament to the care she put into everything she did.
Donna is survived by her beloved sons, Craig Mullins (and his wife Beth) and Scott Mullins (and his wife Janet), as well as her cherished granddaughters, Christine Mullins and Gillian Mullins. She was predeceased by her husband Giles R. Mullins and her parents, Gilbert and Dolores Nowe.
The family will receive friends at the Weddell-Ajak Funeral Home, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall on Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
