Diana (Tolomeo) Sciullo
Age 64 of Morningside, passed away with her family at her side on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Diana was born in Maierato, Italy on October 26, 1961. She immigrated to the United States in 1971. She was the beloved wife of 40 years to Augusto Sciullo; dear daughter of Elisabetta (Suppa) Tolomeo and the late Francesco Tolomeo; loving mother of Vincenzo (Afnan) Sciullo and Margherita (Philip) Salerno; cherished grandmother of Lorenzo Salerno; dear sister of Antonia (Domenico) DiRenzo and Domenico (Jody) Tolomeo; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Diana was a woman of deep faith who cherished time spent with her family. She found joy in cooking and baking, and her selfless nature was evident in the way she consistently put others before herself. Known for her kindness and caring spirit, Diana held a strong pride in her Italian heritage, especially her beloved hometown of Maierato. Above all, her greatest joy was her grandson, Lorenzo. She treasured every moment with him, singing lullabies and reading to him with profound love.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 14th from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall, where a parting prayer will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Jude Parish, St. Raphael Church, 1106 Chislett St., Morningside. Entombment will follow at the Chapel of the Angels, Allegheny Cemetery, Lawrenceville.
