David Clement Hartz

Age 78, formerly of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 1, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Carolyn (Sellers) Hartz; loving father of David Hartz (Alisha), Jeffrey Hartz (Patty), Lisa Cercone (Richard), Michele Pietropaolo and the late Matthew R. Hartz; also 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brother of Evan Hartz (Sandy), Daniel Hartz and the late Robert Hartz and Donald Hartz. David was a proud Marine. The family would like to thank the Nurses and Staff at the VA Hospital Aspinwall and Oakland, for their wonderful care of their father.
 

There will be no visitation. A service with military honors will be held Tuesday, March 9 at 10:30 a.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Rd. Bridgeville, PA 15017. The family respectfully suggests in lieu of flowers sending memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, 600 River Ave., Suite 400, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
