Daniel Charles Wilhoit
Age 66, of Aspinwall, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 in Family Hospice at Canterbury Place, after a brave battle with cancer.
Born September 19, 1957, in Pittsburgh, he lived in the Allegheny Valley all of his life. Dan led a productive life filled with family and employment. He enjoyed listening to classic rock, especially the Beatles, riding buses to investigate Pittsburgh, walking in his Aspinwall neighborhood, watching classic TV, especially westerns, and watching sports. Dan could tell a good story and enjoyed sharing them with many people.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Sue; two sons, Robert and Benjamin Wilhoit; his sister Christine Henney (Ray); and three brothers, William (Lina) Wilhoit, Brian (Vickie) Wilhoit, Kevin (Brooke) Wilhoit. He also is survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Despite his disabilities, Dan led a full life thanks to the loving support of his father-in-law, Thomas Jolly.
Friends will be received Saturday, March 23rd from 1:30 p.m. until the memorial service at 4 p.m. at the Weddell-Ajak Funeral Home, 100 Center Ave. Aspinwall.
