Concetta M. (Principe) Cozza

Age 77, of Sharpsburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Beloved wife of 54 years to Roberto Cozza, Concetta was the loving mother of Clementina M. Cozza, Adriana Foley (Sean), and Luigi Cozza. She was the cherished nana of Liam and Giuliana Foley, who brought her endless joy.

Born into a close-knit family, Concetta was the dear sister of Stefania Turano (the late Aldo), Giovanna Turano (Pasquale), Clementina Chilelli (Mario), and the late Stefano Principe (survived by his wife, Maria). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Concetta's life was a testament to her deep love for her family and her unwavering Catholic faith. A devout Catholic throughout her life, she found strength and guidance in her faith, which she instilled in her children and grandchildren. Her kind and nurturing spirit touched everyone she met, and she will be remembered for her selflessness, warmth, and gentle grace.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Concetta found her greatest joy in creating a loving home where family traditions were cherished and celebrated. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends will be received at the Weddell-Ajak Funeral Home, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall, with visitation hours on Tuesday, January 28th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Madonna of Jerusalem Church on Wednesday, January 29th. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, O’Hara Twp.
