Barbara Forrester Egan 

Age 83, of Fox Chapel, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 24, 2023. Barbara is predeceased by her first husband, Norbert D. Forrester and her second husband, Robert B. Egan, and her sister, Carol Coyne. She is survived by her adoring children, Kristen (Michael) Ryan and Brian (Nicole) Forrester; her grandchildren, Lily Ryan, Penelope and Amelia Forrester, as well as her brother, David (Lynette) Eloff.

Born and raised in Garfield Heights, OH, she met Norm while attending Case Western Reserve University. Upon marriage, she moved to Pittsburgh, PA where she spent the majority of her life. Upon Norm’s passing in 2003, Barbara enjoyed a life of travel and friends before meeting and marrying Bob Egan in 2013. Her marriage to Bob provided joy as they continued to play golf and live in both Delray Beach, FL and Fox Chapel, PA. With Bob’s passing in 2017, Barbara focused on a life of family and friends. Frequently visiting her family in Chicago and enjoying time with her three granddaughters. She looked forward to watching her beloved Steelers and reading poetry, two pursuits that do not often go together, but Barbara did it well.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 21st from 12 noon until 4 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall.
