Angelo A. Martini, Sr.
Age 83, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Beloved husband of 63 years to Betty Ann Martini; loving father of Anthony (Gabrielle) Martini and Angelo (Nikole) Martini, Jr.; adored grandfather of Mollie (Andrew) Wallisch, Ryan (Madeleine) Martini, Elizabeth Martini, Emily Martini, Allison Martini and Olivia Martini; great-grandfather of Caroline and Annie Wallisch; brother of Anne LaCava and the late Clementine Pittore and Jane Macioce; brother-in-law of Kitty Macioce.
A 1958 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Angelo went on to join the Carpenter’s Union. In the late 60’s, he joined his father’s construction company. In the early 70’s, he took over A. Martini & Co. as President. Over the next 50+ years, his steady leadership grew the company. Angelo was known in the industry & to friends as a kind hearted, humble gentleman. His word was his bond.
Angelo served on the Pittsburgh Builder’s Exchange Board, but his passion was the 25+ years he served on the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf Board.
Friends received Friday, March 22, 2024 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave., Aspinwall. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 10 a.m at Christ the King Parish, St. Joseph Church, 342 Dorseyville Rd., O’Hara Township. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
