Albert “Al” M. Perry
Age 95, formerly of Sharpsburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Ferraro) Perry; loving father of Joseph Perry (Debra) and Patricia Perry Lieberman (Doug); cherished grandfather of Joseph R. Perry, Robert J. Perry, Jesse Lieberman and Jordan Lieberman; great grandfather of Miles Perry; dear brother of Josephine Humphrey, Richard Perry, Raymond Perry (Jenny) and the late Peter Perry (surviving wife, Mary Lou), Esther DeRoss, Michael Perri, Isabel Pugliese, Dominic Perry and Sam Perry. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Al was a proud World War II Veteran and served our country as a member of the U.S. Navy. He was happiest when serving others, being with his loving family or swinging a golf club with his many friends. Affectionately known as “Pap” to his loving family, he will be missed but always fondly remembered.
Visitation Monday, January 11th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall. Masks required and no more than 25 people in the Funeral Home at one time. A Christian Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Juan Diego Parish, Madonna of Jerusalem Church, 220 Ninth St. Sharpsburg. Entombment will follow at Mount Royal Cemetery, Shaler Twp.
