Ursula (Bejenkowski) Britton
Born January 6, 1923, Ursula Bejenkowski Britton, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018, after complications from a fall. Raised in Aspinwall, Ursula attended Aspinwall High School and proceeded to work for the US Government first in the Army Ordinance Department during World War II, and later in the Veteran’s Administration Division for a total of 25 years. An avid gardener, she was a member of the Guyasuta Garden Club, Orchid Society of Western Pennsylvania for 25 years, and spent more than 20 years as a docent for Phipp’s Conservatory. Preceded in death by her husband, Jack X. Britton, she is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Britton Thaete and her husband, Lee and two grandchildren, Jennifer and Lauren Thaete. No Visitation. Service and Interment is private. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to Phipps Conservatory, 1 Schenley Dr. Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
