Phyllis (Berger) Friday, Age 90, of Fox Chapel, died at her home on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, with her family at her side; beloved wife of the late James C. Friday; loving mother of James B. (JoAnn) Friday, Robert A. (Sharon) Friday, Mary Jo (Daniel) Weeks, Phyllis F. (Thomas) Ellis and Carolyn F. (John) Lesniowski; cherished grandmother of Karin (Joseph, IV) Hawk, E.J. (Emily) Friday, Gillian Friday, Andrew Friday, Dr. Patricia (Erich) Klatt, Christine Flint, Kathleen (Darin) Ometz, Patrick Weeks, Bridget Ellis, Megan Ellis, Lauren Ellis, Mary Kate Ellis, Erin Ellis, Christopher (Krista) Lesniowski, Michael (Mindy) Lesniowski, Rebecca Lesniowski and Heather Lesniowski; great-grandmother of Addison Hawk, Eve Friday, Clarissa Ometz, Hugh David and Myles Lesniowski, Emma, Trevor and Jack Klatt. Phyllis was a graduate of Duquesne University and was the retired secretary and treasurer of Friday Enterprises. The family will receive friends Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm in WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave., Aspinwall where a parting prayer will be held Saturday at 9:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Scholastica Church.Entombment Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory to Christ the Divine Teacher Catholic Academy, 205 Brilliant Ave., Pgh., PA 15215.
