Michael David “Grampy” Elliott

Age 62 formerly of Fox Chapel, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Beloved son of late Victor J and Ruth (Foster) Elliott; brother of Victor (Margret), John (Beth), Mark (Shari), Christopher, James and Lisa, and his children Jennifer, Chase, Destiny, also many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Beloved partner of Janis Schweitzer. Michael served his country loyally in the Army. He had a compassionate heart, a great sense of humor and was an exceptional cook. From the time he was a young teen he was affectionately nicknamed “Grampy”. He had a youthful spirit which was evident by his rather lengthy childhood. We will miss him dearly. Friends received Friday, June 9, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave. Aspinwall. Interment is private. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Scholastica Church, 309 Brilliant Avenue,  Aspinwall. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests donations to Animal Friends or the Animal Rescue League of Pittsburgh.
