Kathy A. Clouse

Passed away on her birthday, Friday, September 1, 2017. Kathy of O’Hara Twp., joined her parents Walter and Vivian (Comer) Clouse in eternal peace. Kathy is survived by stepdaughters, Tina, Tracy & Tamara; several cousins and many friends. Kathy will be fondly remembered as someone who could make you laugh, weave an entertaining story, and disrupt your day in the very best way.  Kathy devoted her professional life to her passion for nursing; beginning as a candy striper and evolving into a Masters prepared nursing director and respected educator.  Following her formal retirement, Kathy continued to influence young nursing professionals as an instructor at CCAC. Philanthropically, Kathy served on the board of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation; and socially functioned as an officer of the “West Penn Alumni Group” and as the group’s Christmas Master of Ceremonies.  A private graveside service was held at Allegheny County Memorial Park, McCandless Twp.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation in Kathy’s memory.
