Jerry K. Barth

Jerry Klenk Barth went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 24 2018. Born and raised in Decatur, IL, he was the son of Anna Marguerite Barnett Barth and Harold Wilbur "Pete" Barth.  A graduate of Decatur High School where he was active in the high school marching band, concert band and dance band as well as the editor of the school yearbook and member of the honor society.  He attended Trinity College on a full scholarship in Hartford, CT where he majored in electrical engineering.  He was a member of Delta Phi fraternity.  He earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green University. He worked for Westinghouse in the aerospace and technical division, Rockwell and Ametek. He has been a long time member of Christ Church Fox Chapel where he served as a Sunday School Teacher and member of the Vestry. He is survived by his loving wife, Lena C. Bagdon-Barth, two sons, John (Jill) of Lake Forest, IL and Jeff (Teasha) of Richmond VA. & two daughters, Lisa (Hank) Lish of Hampton Twp., and Mary Hopkins of O'Hara Twp.  He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Cory, Katie, Kiley Barth; Nathan, Anna, Suzanne, Ben Lish; Jonathan, Mathew, Nicholas Hopkins ; Emily, Josh and Garrett Varvil.  He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Ann Ahlenius of Texas as well as many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary K. (Smith) Barth and a brother John Paul Barth. No Visitation. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Christ Church Fox Chapel, 630 Squaw Run Road East, where the family will receive friends following the service. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to Christ Church  Fox Chapel, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
