Edward P. Walter, Jr.

Age 82 of Slippery Rock, formerly of Blawnox, passed away on Saturday, Novmeber 24, 2018. Beloved husband of 54 years to Hope (Hastings) Walter; loving father of Edward P. Walter, III and Michael S. Walter; cherished grandfather of Matthew E. Walter and Monica M. Walter; brother of James V. Walter, the late H. David Walter and Evelyn Walter Colton; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Edward was a 1954 graduate of Etna High School. He served for 4 years with the Air Force.  Edward was part owner of M.J. Strohm Roofing, Indiana Twp.  A private family visitation was held at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Service conducted by the Rev. R. Lee Nichols, Jr., pastor of Hoboken Presbyterian Church, Blawnox. Interment followed at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Twp.  In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to National Lung  Association.
