Barbara Y. (Yates) Hellberg

Passed peacefully at her home in Fox Chapel on Monday, July 30, 2018.  Born, January 14, 1931 to Estella and Norman Yates, she was a Pittsburgh native and graduated from Carnegie Tech (now CMU).  She married the late Clifford W. Hellberg in 1956 and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and homemaker.  Her passion for art and creativity was reflected in her hobby of sewing where she designed and made many beautiful dresses and outfits.  She was active in the local Meals on Wheels program with over thirty years of service. She is survived by her three children, Clifford (Kathryn) Hellberg, Steven (Janet) Hellberg, and Jennifer (Joseph) Campolo; her two sisters, Gladys O’Hare and Eleanor Yates (of Oklahoma),  eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. No Visitation. Services at the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden will be private.
