Walter was a kind and wonderful man that I had the pleasure to work for. Condolences and prayers to Marilyn, his children, and grandchildren. He was truly loved and will be missed by many.

My dear husband, Walter, passed away peacefully with family around him on Tuesday, June 6th. He was a joy to me, his children, Virginia and Pete and their families, and all of my family too. In addition to his amazing accomplishments in his field of mathematics and his strong friendships with many of his colleagues, he was an example of kindness and goodness throughout his life. We will miss him greatly.
