Lawrence E. Carney

Age 64, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the VAMC, Aspinwall. Larry was born in Pittsburgh on September 25, 1952 and was the son of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Beattie) Carney. He is survived by his daughter, Heather A. (Ralph) Little, his son, Lawrence "Larry" (Anita) Carney; his granddaughter, Teaghan Little; his ex wife Jane Hays;his sisters, Dorothy Kirsch, Kathy Morgan, and Patricia (Tom) Birmingham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Kevin and Thomas Carney. There will be no visitation. Military Honors will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA. The family respectfully suggests in lieu of flowers a gift card to be given in Larry's honor to the VA Hospital, Aspinwall for the disabled veterans.
