KATHRYN L. "KITTY" SCHAFFER, 58, of Aspinwall, died on Saturday, November 22, 2008, at UPMC St. Margaret, with her Clarence by her side; beloved wife of 23 years to Michael L. Schaffer; loving mother of Ashley A. Schaffer; sister-in-law of Mark and Diane, Alex and Meg, Joe and Joyce, Chris and Terry, Pat and Mary Lou, Greg and Cassi. Kitty was a registered nurse at St. Francis Hospital and the VA Hospital in Aspinwall. The family would like to thank Dr. D. Singh and his office staff, and the staff of 6A at UPMC St. Margaret for their wonderful care. Friends received Monday 7-9pm & Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm in WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave., Aspinwall. A funeral service will be held Wed. at 10am in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1610 Powers Run Rd., Fox Chapel, Officiating, Rev. Robert L. Musser. Everyone please meet at church for the service. Interment All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Braddock Hills.
