Georgene C. (McKay) Veltri

Of Aspinwall, passed away peacefully with family at her side on Thursday, July 20, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Orland C. Veltri; loving mother of Tina (Harold) Hribal, Lisa Veltri, John (Tammi) Veltri and Gina (Rich) Kowalski; cherished grandmother of Nicole, Chasidy, Kayla, Ryan, Alex, Jimmy, Anthony, Eva and Ella and great grandson, Jackson; sister of Kay Lang, George McKay, Rich McKay, Tom McKay and the late Patricia Shaner and Jim McKay. Georgene was the Administrative Assistant for the Borough of Aspinwall and the Tax Collector. She was a devout catholic and a member of St. Scholastica Church. Friends will be received Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall, where a parting prayer will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Scholastica Church. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
